Brief: Understanding Digital Transformation starts from Decoding the growth of the Software Development Sector. Next time your 3-year old child navigates alone through your smartphone, try to come in terms with the fact that Coding has become a basic human skill. This is not the 4th revolution but Human Evolution as Homo Digitalis is already here. Spelling is dying gradually due to autocorrect, finger dexterity is decaying since we don’t write but type. What may follow next remains to be seen. HR may not need to start coding as yet, but Digitization means understanding the basic software schools of thought, cultures like object Oriented Programming and tribes like Java, C++, open sources and why it is important to point to soft skills and architectures.

Aims: The HR profession has seen the intrusion of an unprecedented mass of software methods, tools and jargon, like Scrum, Sprints, Agile Management, with literally no time to come in terms with its skills gap. In HumanI we will give you the chance to pause, think and reflect. In this short workshop we will aim to enlighten you about •what is software development • where did it all started and why • how It evolved •basic language taxonomies, libraries, frames •where it will go from here • how specific traits may lead to specific jobs in IT Development •how specific coding or frames may lead to specific cultures • how specific cultures may feed into specific ways to select, communicate, understand.

As the working environment becomes more digitized we need to talk the same language to streamline our role with the current digital world, in order to accelerate our business partner dimension. Do not miss this amazing educational and inspirational opportunity.
